The ability to reply to this post has been turned off.
Dr P has been suffering with il-health for sometime now so isn't always available.
However email louise.roberts@thyroiduk.org.uk for a list of Endocrinologists. If patients know of one they will send you a private message as we don't put details on the open forum.
If you have had a recent blood test post your results with the ranges for comments. If you've not had one for a while request a TSH, T4, T3, Free T4, Free T3. The frees tell us how much is circulating in our blood. You can read on the following link.
I bet you've neve had your Free T3 tested and considering that's the most important thyriod hormone required in all of our receptor cells it always surprises me. If we feel well on our dose we don't need it particularly but if unwell with symptoms I think it's a good idea.
Blood tests should be at the earliest, fasting (you can drink water) and allow 24 hour gap between last dose of levo and the test and take afterwards.
If GP hasn't tested B12, Vit D, iron, ferritin and folate ask for these also as we can be deficient.
