Bowel problems after taking Teva thyroxine

Taking 75mg of thyroxine but last month my pharmacist changed my 25mg dose to Teva . I've developed bowel problems I seem to be sensitive to many foods and having bouts of diarrhoea. Is anyone else suffering on Teva?

You could have a sensitivity in the fillers/binders in Teva so ask pharmacist to source your previous make and return the Teva.

Lots of people seem to have difficulty with Teva. I was switched to it recently & had a reaction to it so had to goto to the liquid version of levothyroxine as I've developed an allergic reactio to the tablets for some reason.

I've had bowel problems for years. We thought it was related to holidays abroad.ive had some very embarrassing experience trying to get to the toilet in time and sometimes not making it. I'm fixed now. I don't drink dairy ever. I don't drink cola type drinks. I've gut down on Gluten. The main trigger was the milk especially hot milk. I take regular pre and pro biotics. Fatty food, hot cheese can be dangerous. I eat loads of fruit veg and lean meat. Loads of spices. Garlic is good for tummy too. It's been a long experimental journey tho. Hope this helps. Too much fibre isn't good either.

I'll go back to my original thyroxine first. It appears to be a wide range of foods such as tomatoes, spinach, mushrooms even sweet potatoes. If changing the tablet doesn't work I'll have to look into it seriously. Thanks for taking the time to reply 👍
