Have suffered from hypothyroidism for over 30 yrs take thyroxine 125mgg concerned that something is going wrong finding it hard to swallow and voice is croaky the only tests my gp will do are the run of the mill t4 and the other routine one should I try and see my doctor urgently and what questions should I ask

Sorry you're feeling unwell. Do you have copies of your test results? That would be a good place to start.
Hi, the difficulty in swallowing and hoarse voice are enough symptoms to prompt your GP to refer you to a hospital for further investigations. Good luck
