I now have Hashimotos and taking Armour. I just recently developed Asthma at age 70. Is this related to autoimmune since I also now have allergies to almost everything food and environmental.

Hashimotos and Asthma
It's a possibility that you have a gluten sensitivity and that can cause many problems.
Me too Turbine, my Asthma came on late in life although I have been susceptible to many chemical smells over the years, my allergies have increased and perfume on others causes me no end of problems. Reluctantly I do now use an inhaler which I have to say has stopped the coughing. It is extremely difficult to overcome but do make sure you eat fresh wholesome foods and cut out sugar in any form in your diet as this thrives on bacteria in the gut which in turn causes much ill health. I agree healing the gut has to become a priority and much information can be had either here or on the internet.
I discovered there is even holiday accommodation for people with allergies i.e. the surroundings and furniture are all organic and free from harmful chemicals, so we are not alone but I do commiserate with you and hope you find some answers to make life more easier for you.
My asthma only began when I was in my sixties, so yes, I think it is something that comes along to join the 'party'! I was diagnosed with underactive thyroid in my late forties, I now have Pernicious Anaemia and fibromyalgia to add to the mix.
Most of these are classed as autoimmune, meaning your body is attacking itself.
Good luck with everything.

It might not really be asthma. My dad was told he had asthma at around your age and it turned out to be low B12 and pernicious anaemia making him breathless.
