Drinking tea with no milk before or after T3 & T4?

Is it ok to do this or do I have to have this drink either 2 hours before or after medicating?

For maximum absorption take T3 and T4 with water one hour before,or two hours after, black tea or tea with milk.

Hi Smudger1, may I ask in here if anyone knows if this is true also for Redbush tea or is this okay to have not long before or after T3?

I take my NDT at night simply because I know my stomach is empty.

How do you know it is empty, surely 1st thing in the morning it is going to be guaranteed empty. I find this whole food/meds thing a nightmare, I take blood pressure meds in the morning which require me not to eat until at least 30 minutes after. So unless I continue to get up at 6 & take T3 @ T4, then wait till 8 to take blood pressure meds, then wait 30 mins for breakfast, I will be having breakfast for lunch! All this time drinking water only. I am going to try and get blood pressure meds changed which will save me 30 mins.

Having said all that I wouldn't give up the T3 😍

So do I. But to answer your question I have my tea /dinner before 6 and go to bed four hours later which ensures my stomach is empty.
