I have had thyroid propblems for about 10 years. I have had ups and downs throughout that time. It is so hard to have an optimal life when things aren't in sinc! My general physician just gave me a small dose of cytomel. My general physician is not that informed about hypothyroidism. I'm thrilled he was willing to try the cytomel! I'm very excited to have improvement. I hope to learn from all of you as I continue on this journey.

Ask for a thyroid function test 6-8 weeks after you started Cytomel to check your thyroid levels as dose may need increasing. When you get your thyroid results and ranges (ranges are the figures in brackets after results) write a new post for advice.
