Hi!I am having hypothyroid since last 12 years.Since last 2 months,for no major reason ,I am unable to sleep easily and wake up very early in the morning.My tsh has increased from 3.99 to 8.68 within 1 month.My doctor has increased my thyronom dose and he says that my insomnia and increase in tsh are not related.
Can anybody suggest some help?

If you are not producing enough thyroid hormones, your adrenal glands will compensate. This results in high or low cortisol. High cortisol can cause insomnia. Your doctor is wrong to say they are not related.
Due to your doctor's response you have learned that few know any clinical symptoms of hypothyroidism. We have to read and learn if we want to get well again. I think you will be able to tick more than insomnia on the link below
