Hashimotos and remission??
Going gluten-free helps reduce antibodies. Other's who've gone along this road will respond.
You can get your antibodies down - possibly - by going 100% gluten-free. Taking selenium is also good. And, you need to keep your TSH at zero.
These things might reduce your antibodies, but I doubt they will 'fix' your autoimmune issues. And, if damage has been done to the gland, you are going to need to continue taking thyroid hormone replacement, in order to be well. Reducing the antibodies, will not make the gland regenerate, I'm afraid.
Hi
Some good suggestions. Also sort out any gut issues. Maybe work with a nutritionist to bring levels down .
I know going gluten free will work for a lot of people with hashimotos but it doesn't work for everyone. It never worked for me ,in fact it made me worse.
The book Hashimotos the root cause has a lot of helpful suggestions and everything is backed by scientific studies.
