I had terrible dizziness before I was diagnosed. It eased a bit when I started levo. Eased a lot more when l started supplementing B12. And now l only feel dizzy when l get out of the back seat of a car. Not the front seat, only the back seat! lol
A TSH of 13 indicates you're still undermedicated - are they looking to increase your dose?
Thank you GP increased to 75mcg I developed irregular heart beat so went back down 50 and am seeing her Friday. i know I need increasing but am now nervous
You could go to 75mcg every other day and then step up?
Have you had your vitamins and minerals checked? Recommended here are Vit D, B12, Folate & Ferritin. If they're not well treated and balanced they cause symptoms.
Irregular heartbeat also makes me think of adrenal stress - I'm sure someone else can correct me if I'm wrong there - but it's quite difficult to get conventional GP to check that.
Thank you vit D low and Ferratin so in supplements for both recently... Hope something kicks in and improves symptoms
Thank you
Yes I did. When I started Levo I felt terrible and had a few false starts.
I went from 25mcg every other day or two days and increased very gradually. I also took at night with idea I would be asleep when it kicked in and hoping to reduce the side effects. That helped my insomnia for a bit too.
I persevered and my body got used to it eventually.
