Need a good thyroid specialist in Yorkshire

Hi, Can anybody recommend a private endocrinologist anywhere in Yorkshire who is forward-thinking and interested in treating thyroid problems? From the website it seems Thyroid UK's list doesn't cover this county. I've lost faith in the NHS. I'd be very grateful for information, thank you.

I got a list from Louise at TUK and you are correct, there are no decent endo's in Yorkshire. Afraid you will have to travel, mostly down south. I prefer to do my own blood tests, pose questions on here and treat myself. Cheaper and usually more reliable!!

Dr Pope at the Yorkshire Clinic in Bradford. Haven't seen him myself but he s highly recommended on another thyroid forum.

I was discharged from the NHS endo and I have not followed up. I have used my own reading and this site to move forward as I found it less stressful!
