Folate Blood Test: Which one?

Hi

I am planning a private folate blood test, as it is about the only thing that has not been ruled out. I am seeing specialist next week, and have had all vitamins etc checked apart from folate (some in NHS some private).

Do I check Folate RBC or Folate Serum???

I've always had the serum folate test done, and I'm sure this is what the NHS would do if they did one.
