Hi can hair loss be due to taking to much thyroxine or not enough my tsh is 0.27 I am taking 125mg of thyroxine daily thanks

Tina-r,

Being over medicated can certainly cause hair loss but you are unlikely to be over medicated with TSH 0.27. Some people experience hair loss because of Levothyroxine but low iron/ferritin and low zinc also cause hair loss.
