Oh dear.

Do you have any current test results for T3, vitamin B12, ferritin, folate and vitamin D? If you do edit your post and put in your test results and ranges. As any of them being low or deficient could lead to your issues.

I was doing a lot of research for my sister-in-law who is in her sixties and having a hairloss problem and read so many articles that said low iron was often the cause. Do you know your levels. I was trying to find my source for an acne problem because I had heard it might be due to high testosterone which you can even attribute to a man who uses supplements in the family.

I have always had an iron issue. Last i checked though it was a lot better which was recent & i also supplement with iron.

If you have only just raised your iron levels it might take a while to see an improvement. How high is your serum ferritin now?

low zinc can also cause it, and is assoc with hypo.

No i meant that I think i am breaking from the hormones i am on. I mean T3. As i mentioned i have taken the same DHA for years and never had a break out.

I quit taking it because of the acne.

The T3????? I could never see myself going back to T4 only. I have symptoms now but not compared to the synthroid only treatment. I am going to keep trying natural acne busting remedies. I bought all natural MSM powder for my husband to start last summer for his arthritis. I have been reluctant to start it for my inflammation until my body is fully adjusted to new T4 dose ad the T3 addition. One of the positive sides of MSM is suppose to be less acne and great for skin. Hopefully this will be the ticket.
