Hi I also have hashimotos and under active thyroid. I contracted a frozen shoulder and decided to haveJanuary this year. After many sleepless nights I went to a physio. I had the steroid injection last week and the pain has almost gone. I understand that the pain may return, but I am keeping my fingers crossed that it won't.

Hi Soldieress!

Welcome to site and welcome to Surrey!

I have seen S. Z. who does NHS in E. Surrey Hospital in Redhill if you can get GP to refer you. He listens, does all the appropriate tests and is not against NDT altho' of course you have to source it. There is quite a long waiting list of a 2 or 3 months butg you can see him privately at Gatwick Spire.

wow - thank you for replying. I haven't got a GP in Surrey. I've just recently moved to the area. So could you or any body else recommend a GP who would be happy to refer me to the Endocrinologist S. Z. I'm in-between Reigate and Redhill so would have to be in their catchment area. Local practices: Hawthorns, Wall House, Moat House, Holmhurst, Woodlands, South Park, and others i haven't heard of? Thanks again for your help :)

Sorry, I don't know GPs in that area. I am nearer Lingfield and quite frankly I wouldn't recommend ours anyway. However if you have a diagnosis needing an endo. you could ask for a referral as he would be in your area as East Surrey Hospital is your local. All the best with it.
