CLARITY OF T3 BRANDS ON THYROID UK SITE PLEASE.

With reference to Non UK Prescription for Perrigo (Paddock Lab inc) Synthetic T3 5mcg,25mcg,50mcg , is this the same as the UK Prescription of Lactose Free T3 by Paddock 5mcg,25mcg,50mcg ? The use of the word synthetic confused me, as i thought all T3 only meds were synthetic.

Any advise greatly appreciated.

All T3 products I know of are synthetic.

(The only slight exception is that desiccated thyroid products contain T3 which is, of course, not synthetic.)

The two entries above are the same product.

Many thanks Helvella for your reply. Just dotting the i's and crossing the t's before i embark on adding a little T3 to my NDT. So many fillers in these meds, we all have to be jugglers with this disease !! Getting there v v v slowly.....
