Thinking of increasing to 75 mg mon-fri until he replies. How long does it take to absorb a dose or lower TSH ?

Or 50 mg everyday ?

Orangepie1,

Congratulations!

It's usual to increase dose by 25-50mcg when pregnancy is confirmed. I would certainly increase to 75mcg daily. It takes 7-10 days to absorb an increase in dose and TSH should come down quite quickly then.

I am still waiting for my endos call. Do you think this amount of increase could put me in a hyperthyroid state?

I took 50 mg daily before I was pregnant and my TSH went from 1.73 to <0.02 in a matter of weeks, so I'm a little cautious . Thought 75 mg mon-fri until I hear back from endo may help ?
