I used to teach on a "Womens returners" course - women who had been out of the workplace for a number of years. It was based around learning IT but we bunged in a lot to help their confidence, including body language and how we say things. We even put in pelvic floor exercises! All the women thought they were the only shivering wrecks in the area, and most of the help to change this perception came from the other women as their confidence rose, and they chatted and made friends amongst the group. It was totally brilliant to see them at the end of the course, finding their wings and flying!

The course was cancelled as it was deemed sexist. Such a shame.
