Does anyone have stomach problems taking Synthroid?

Hi been having severe constipation gas and bloating. On 50 mcg. Synthroid. Always had a bum stomach but am much worse since on Synthroid. I am glute free and take probiotics. Thanks for any help in advance.

Constipation can be a sign of under medication. Post your thyroid results and ranges and we'll advise whether you are optimally dosed. If you are optimally dosed ask your doctor to write a prescription for an alternative brand or for one of the generic Levothyroxines to see whether symptoms improve. Synthroid isn't prescribed in the UK which is why you've not had replies.
