Clavicle pain

Hello everyone. Today I have been having awful pain along my left clavicle bone. There also feels like pressure in my neck (which I do sometimes get if stressed or getting a migraine). But the clavicle pain is new - and awful! If feels like something under my clavicle is pressing on nerves. Anyone else get this with thyroid problems or am I experiencing a completely separate ailment? Not that I need any more of those. I feel so exhausted today too - even more than normal. And flu like. MPx

I get the same thing strangely enough, had it only yesterday but have no idea what it is ????

I have Hadhimotos BTW, I'd be interested to know what could be causing this too😳

Have you done much heavy overhead lifting? If so - look up T.O.S. Thoracic outlet Syndrome. It gives severe pain under the clavicle area.

A blood vessel, the brachial nerve and a muscle go down through a small, triangular bottleneck, behind the clavicle. With excessive overuse ( I worked at a Univ. Medical Library and had to do hours of heavy overhead lifting which caused severe pain in this area), if the muscle swells it presses on the nerve and/or may damage the blood vessel.

I hope it isn't this, as I still can't lift anything 20 years later and still get pain if i use my left arm, but it's worth checking out. I don't think it's connected to thyroid.

Hi melody pond. I'm sorry I put a reply to you in the wrong box; it's down lower; then I tried to move it up, but duplicated it; then tried unsuccessfully to delete the 2nd one.

I give up ... I think it's past my bed-time ...

Yes I got this when taking levy and swollen lymph nodes. Switching to NDT helped get rid of this. Please do not kill yourself you have done nothing wrong. It sounds like you need to try NDT if you are so depressed. Do hang on in there you can get well again x
