150mcg Levothyroxine not sleeping well.

So a couple of weeks ago my doctor increased my dose to 150mcg and I thought great that will help but now iv'e been struggling to sleep and im not sure if its because of the tablets or if its just the warm weather but im struggling to sleep anytime before 4am.Can Levo do ths?

Sure way to find out whether it is Levothyroxine or warm weather causing you insomnia is to go back to 125mcg for 3 or 4 weeks and see whether sleep improves. If it improves try 125mcg/150mcg alternate days for a couple of weeks before increasing to 150mcg which you will then hopefully tolerate without sleep disruption.

You could also try taking 3 mg of melatonin about an hour before bed. I tried that 2 months ago and it has been a miracle. Really works- doc said I can go up to 5 mg but right now 3-4 are working
