Iodine
Iodine is one of those things you shouldn't take unless you know you are deficient.
I don't know if being pregnant makes any difference to that though, I wouldn't have thought so but I really don't know.
It might be an idea to re-post and make your title more iodine/pregnant specific to catch the eye of members who may know more.
Two scenarios. If you don't have any thyroid at all, then iodine won't matter much. There isn't a gland working to use it so you'll flush it out. If you have any remnant of the gland working, don't use iodine - it can stimulate what's left of your gland too strongly and give a kind of "hyper" storm. Iodine supplementation in this case should only be done under careful medical supervision.
thankyou for replies
Hi
If you don't want any additional Iodine, look out for the Sanatogen Mumtobe multivit, it does not contain Iodine.
