Liver Function Test, CRP blood test results help
Nikki2975,
Results are within range (normal).
alkaline phosphatase is above range though. ?fatty liver, alcohol, statins?
Gabkad,
Oops, I didn't spot that
Could also be due to the extremely low vitamin D level since alk phos is involved with bone metabolism. That's easy enough to correct.
This was my third LFT since January and all three times it's been out of range.
I did look into non alcoholic fatty liver disease and some of the symptoms for it are what i have but i know they can be caused by many different conditions.
I had an ultrasound scan done yesterday on my stomach so just waiting for the results to come through but seemed like she found something...whether it's something causing my stomach problems that i'm having or it being as well as i guess i'll find out in a week.
When i have my stomach problems (which my doc thinks is IBS) and have the test done it does show up as inflamed and when i have no symptoms it shows up as normal so i guess it's wait and see for now.
