....and then we have doctors saying - we do not test for anti-bodies for Hashimotos - as the treatment is just the same. Shame on them. Thank goodness we have Dr Datis Kharrazian with his book - Why Isn't My Brain Working. Gluten molecules can also permeate the blood/brain barrier and create inflammation I read ....

Yes, that makes sense about the BBB and might explain why my daughter's depression has practically disappeared since she changed her diet.

Does this mean all of us with a selection of autoimmune illnesses already are destined to get dementia too? It's depressing enough dealing with what we have, without worrying about something else in the future,
