Canada fires

This is off topic .

I would like to express my sympathy to the Canadians for this dreadful state of affairs.

Does anyone know what part of the country gabkad lives.

She immediately crossed my mind when I saw the devastation.

I don't know the part gabkad live but the fires are in Alberta where I believe the oil fields are which complicates matters. 

It must be terrifying seeing and feeling the heat and not knowing what's going to happen next, i.e. with wind etc.

Fort McMurray is in northern Alberta, north of Edmonton by 400 kms or so.  I am in Western Alberta fellow coworkers have been effected.  Thank you for your kind words from so far away.
