Have to say though that this is disturbing and smacks of yet another "gentlemen's club" operating within the British healthcare system.  As per usual, the patient is the least concern.

It's very worrying isn't it!  I doubt that they'll take one jot of notice of the petition, but we have to at least try.  It's a first step at least.  If they ignore it then we go one step higher.  There are at least some weightier patient and carer voices now than there were a few years ago.
