Hi everyone, I am on  t3 only ,I reduced dose from 45 mcg to 40 mcg for a few days .as I felt hot ,felt worse ,so upped to 40 mcg one day 45 mcg the next.Symptoms getting worse pain and heaviness,is this due to my recent drop and do the symptoms have a delay ? Just staying on 40/ 45  now and hope symptoms improve.

I'm sorry you're not doing so well. Did you take your temp when you felt hot? Or Pulse? Both of these can indicate too much if higher than your usual number.

Hi Shaws ,temp and pulse were all normal.Just wondering do symptoms lag behind dose change when on t3 only as I know they do when on thyroxine.

They shouldn't, I believe, because levo has a long half life. As far as I know the T3 you take today, the effect should last between 1 to 3 days.

Are you taking UK T3.

sorry to but in but is there a difference in T3 from uk to Euro Greece T3

It's just that a few times UK T3 has been reported as causing some side effects. It may well be fine now.
