For interest I am posting my wife's TSH test done last week. She is currently on 75 Levo + 5 Lio, and has felt well ever since she start this regime. I requested a T3 test, but clearly they have not done so. As you can see the TSH is below range, so no doubt the Dr or Endo will say she is on too much one or the other. But as she feels well, we will stay on this. They will no doubt stop/try to stop the T3 in which case I will buy abroad if necessary.

TSH test
Chrys,
Your wife's TSH is suppressed but she's not over medicated as FT4 is only halfway through range. If there is any suggestion that your wife's dose/s should be adjusted try negotiating ie if FT3 is tested and over range you will consider reducing either Levothyroxine or T3.

As Clutter says, as soon as you take T3 TSH is suppressed, and it becomes a constant battle with GPS. Free T3 is the only meaningful test, along with clinical symptoms, of course.
TSH can become suppressed no matter what replacement you are taking.
My endo is quite happy with suppressed TSH at those levels as long as FT3 and FT4 are within range. GPs don't understand generally.
