I was thinking about this too.  I sent an email to her last week or so but no reply - most unusual. She has been so ill for such a long time I'm afraid to ask for details.

Thank you Margo, foxglove and Beverleyb. Yes she is very poorly and has been for some time, I'm amazed with her situation that she ever emails me at all, but always seems to manage to reply quite promptly.

Hello CC120 ,

I last  heard from her husband who said that Jackie was taken in hospital with a serious infection.  I haven't heard anything since.  It is such a worry, such a nice lady.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for her

Hi Kitten-whiskers, sorry to trouble you, but would you be kind enough to tell me what you know about Jackie. I didn't know about her going into hospital and she has been such a comfort to me (in spite of her own serious probs. ) -wouldn't like her to think I wasn't concerned

She is a lovely lady, gone through so much already and never down.
