different labs on same drug...?

In early 2012, I tried Thiroyd from Thailand and did great on it for about six months. This is what my labs looked like in June 2012, on 5 grains of Thiroyd:

FT3 4.2 (ref 2.2-4.3)

FT4 1.1 (ref 0.8-1.5)

TSH completely suppressed. I was also on 6 mg of Medrol daily, after being diagnosed with adrenal fatigue in late 2011. No cortisol levels measured as Medrol (unlike HC) won't show up on labs. TSH completely suppressed, but dismissed by doctor as irrelevant when on meds containing T3.

A few months ago, after having some problems with Erfa, I decided to try Thiroyd again. A few years ago, I stopped taking it after having a shipment confiscated by customs. This time, I was fortunate enough to receive the shipment without problems.

However, this time, Thiroyd did work nearly as well as the first time around. I started feeling hypo rather quickly, and labs from February this year confirms this:

FT3 2.9 (ref 2.2-4.3)

FT4 0.9 (ref 0.8-1.5)

TSH still suppressed, though.

The main difference between 2012 and now is that I stopped taking Medrol a few months ago. I had not planned to; I just forgot to take it for a couple of days, noticed no real difference, and decided to stay off it for as long as I could. I expected having to go back on it sooner or later...but it's been almost eight weeks off it, and still no ill effects (unlike earlier attempts to wean off adrenal support).

However, I cannot help but wonder if going off Medrol could explain why my labs look so different now compared to 2012, on the same dosage of Thiroyd...?

Sometimes we do need adjustments in our hormones for one reason or another. How are you feeling on your dose of Thyroid at present? If fine the dose is suitable for you. If not you could tweak your dose a little till you feel well.

Actually, I feel pretty fine on my current dose of Thiroyd.

That's good so it would appear you are on an optimum dose.

How do you feel?   Thats the most important thing.

Why were your meds confiscated by customs?  Are you in the uk?    This is extremely worrying as there is no reason to confiscate them.....      What was said?   Did you appeal?
