I had the Blue Horizon home finger prick Thyroid 11 test done last time, it includes amounts other things B12 and vitamin D.
If any of your results are out of range they will be highlighted and there is usually a comment of some sort about them.
I've never told my doctor I have them done. I used to enjoy knowing what my results were going to be like in advance of my hospital visits though.
I just raise or lower my sublingual B12 and vitamin D depending on the results - I just want to keep an eye on what is happening generally. I'm also watching my antibodies to see if being totally GF reduces them (it has done)
Ginnyabbott, you need TSH, FT4, FT3 and antibodies. Blue Horizon's Comprehensive 10 includes options for some vitamin/mineral tests too. Ferritin, B12 and folate are recommended. If you want vitD it will be cheaper to order a separate test via City Assays.
