TSH guidance

Hi need some advice my TSH is 6.7. I have been complaining of not feeling well for weeks & the doc now wants to see me. Is it just Thyroid meds that affect your TSH or could an underlying illness? Excuse my ignorance still trying to understand results. I do however realise 6.7 is too high

Many thanks

It sounds like it may be too much and is suppressing thyroid activity too much.

I don't know lots about hyperthyroidism though, so hopefully someone will be along soon with some thoughts.

I'm going to email my results to my consultant tomorrow. I've felt it was too high for some time. Thank you for your response though

Lisa_59, I agree with JazzW and think your dose could probably be reduced to 10mcg.
