I've always slept well, but since my thyroid problem I can sleep for 11 hours a night! But I've had really vivid dreams that make me toss and turn, since going on Levo. Is this a common thing? I know lots say they don't sleep well at all! it used to take me ages to wake fully where as now I seem to be comatosed until the alarm goes off, then completely awake!

Diyena, hypothyroid patients often need 10+ hours sleep. Your TSH 5.89 is high and you aren't yet optimally medicated. Most people are optimally medicated when TSH is just above or below 1.0 with FT4 in the upper range. You may find you need less sleep when you are optimally medicated. I've rarely remembered dreaming. Levothyroxine has made no difference in that respect.
