Welcome to the forum, Elephants123.

Tremors and shaking can be due to overmedication but feeling cold may be due to undermedication. It's probably best to ask for a thyroid test to checks levels if it's been some months since your last. Arrange an early morning blood draw when TSH is highest, and fast (water only) as TSH drops after food and drink, and take Levothyroxine after the blood draw. Ask your GP receptionist or practice manager for a copy of the results and ranges (figures in brackets after results) and post them in a new question for advice.

Always ask for a print-out of your results for your own records (we are entitled) some surgeries charge a nominal sum for paper/ink. That way you wont make a mistake copying them down (as I usually do). 'Never accept for blood tests "O.K. or normal or fine." particularly if you feel anything but fine.

Yes I have had both sets of symptoms (hyper/hypo) & my hands always shake, less so in recent times but sometimes still they shake.

I had an inner tremor previously - but thankfully that has now gone.

My dexterity also comes & goes - sometimes I can thread a needle (if I take my specs off!) sometimes I just drop stuff - like cups - that could be low B12 'tho. J :D

search on tremor..

Have your B12 checked - it is often very low when Hypo. Needs to be around 1000 - do NOT accept normal or OK from your Doc. Obtain the actual results with ranges and post here in a new post....

When B12 is low in range - under 500 - it can become a neurological condition - and if not treated some of the damage cannot be repaired.

Generally ok for many tests just means you are in range but this may well mean it's not optimal for you. So anything just post you results and how you are feeling and help will be at hand.
