I have just phoned to get my 9 year olds blood results. Bloods were taken because he has diarrhoea quite frequently. Anyway I was told that my boys TSH was just out of range at 4.75 and that his t4 was 15. Sorry dont have the ranges. He does not seem symptomatic of hypothyroid other than he sometimes likes to lie in bed a bit longer than his younger brother. I will take his pulse and temperature tonight but am not sure what is a normal pulse for a nine year old. Any advice on how to approach GP. I self medicate for underactive thyroid,diagnosed by Dr Skinner.

Has he been tested for coeliac disease?

Yes one of the tests, Im not sure which, was for celiac and came back normal.
