Has anyone experienced flash like electric shock feelings in various parts of their body before? Also I get really cold sensations in some of my joints ie just a "wave" of them every now and then? I didnt know if it related to anything.

Electric Shocks
Yes! I put a video link on my profile a while ago showing my legs jerking. The shocks stopped when I started taking zinc, a low dose selenium and magnesium. And it stopped in a matter of days! I only get them now if I am very tired.
I hope you find the answer for you as we all different and will respond to different things.

Yes, before I was diagnosed I used to get something very similar. It felt like I had had an electric shock - it kind of whooshed right round my head and neck, it was over very quickly but it was very unpleasant.
When I described it t the first doctor I saw I could see her thinking 'this woman is totally nuts!' She sat back in her chair and looked at me cynically then said 'I think you are needing your holiday' that was In the last week of August, by the beginning of November I was even more if a wreck and was diagnosed (by a different doctor!) with Graves Disease.
Hello, If you do not get any relief from your symptoms with standard thyroid protocol you may wish to investigate Mycotoxin Illness. My daughter had the symptoms you describe for years as well as thyroid dysfunction. She was then diagnosed with Mycotoxin Illness which apparently caused both her thyroid problems and the feelings of electric shock (as well as many other symptoms). These are now being addressed and relieved. If you need more information I'd be happy to send it. Jane x
Please could u send me the info as I too have these sensations of an electric shock mainly down the right side of my body but sometimes as happened this morning when the sensation is more intense it also affects the left leg.
Do you have any info on the mycotoxin ilness? I had never heard of this.
Is it an infection?
when I was undermedicated yet still so called normal on blood test on medication, when the dr bumped my meds 25mcg, everything went away.....but I had it for years thinking it was normal and nothing could be done...I wonder if it isn't poor circulation from needing more thyroid meds....at least that is what worked for me then. I would have a shooting pain in my leg or arm like a shock....now I am experiencing a lot of heaviness in my legs and swelling from hip to ankle like water I guess and don't know what is causing that since I went on nature throid.....and wonder if that is undermedicated too.....or if anyone has experienced that???
