Help is 4 weeks too soon for blood work after starting naturethroid

I saw my doctor on November 5th and she wrote me a script for naturethroid and I was originally supposed to go back January 6th which would have been 8 weeks and I was supposes to have blood work results in hand when I went back but I got a sooner appointment for this coming Monday and got blood work this past Wednesday but now I'm thinking I shouldn't have I mean was it too soon? If so might not even tell Her I got blood work and might tell my insurance it was void

Lindsey1987, the blood test will show what your levels are on that dose after 4 weeks. 4 weeks may be just about long enough to show whether dose is good, or whether it needs adusting.

Lindsey1987, My endo doesn't test T4+T3 until 6 weeks after a dose adjustment and the protocol in the UK is generally 6-8 weeks.

4 weeks will be long enough to show whether you are overmedicated or undermedicated at the time of the test. If your doctor isn't able to gauge from that whether you are adequately dosed s/he'll presumably ask you to repeat the test in 4 weeks.
