I have Hashis and for years I haven't suffered from any niggly ailments like colds etc which I had put down to my immune system being out of control. However since starting work in a primary school in September I have had one cold after another. I use hand sanitizer every day and make every effort not to touch my eyes, nose and mouth but somehow the germs are still getting in!
I am never sure whether doing things to strengthen my immune system is a good thing or not. Any advice please anyone?

Thanks Shaws. I started taking "golden milk/turmeric tea" earlier in the year but kind of got out of the habit as it's a bit time consuming...but I'm off to make some now!
Yes, I add freshly ground black pepper...and funnily enough it's not as bad as it sounds!
Working in a school is a direct route into every virus going. Once you've been there a year you will have upgraded your immune system to a new and heroic level.
It's similar in the first terms at university - fresher's flu syndrome.
I've been thinking about it all today and (though it's lovely to hold hands with the little ones) I'm getting some latex gloves and am going to tell them to speak up instead of getting up close and personal!
