Hello folks! Well, I have been back on 2 grains for a fortnight night and I am absolutely shattered! Every night this week I went to bed intending to nap for an hour and ended up sleeping through until it was almost 11. I've been getting up to check on my family and pets and then heading straight back to bed!
I wrote the other day about always being too hot -always have been. After raising too much too soon the last time, I have decided to take a more cautious approach this time. I finally bought a thermometer today and my temperature has been a consistent 35.9 degrees throughout the afternoon and evening. I can't believe it can be that low when I feel so hot! Must be a perception thing! I can't wait to get morning readings now!
I think I will raise by 1/4 grain tomorrow, even though a tablet split into 4 seems absurdly tiny, LOL! What do you guys think?
Regards,
Michelle

You don't do patient, do you? With absolutely no evidence of where you are thyroid wise you really should have a blood test before raising your meds any further.
Low thyroid can be one cause of being exhausted, but there are a number of other possibilities, including other hormone irregularities and some very rare conditions.
OK, I self-medicate, so there is an element of pots and kettles. OK, prior to starting meds I slept thirteen hours a day, but I also felt frozen all the time, ached all over, and had a static digestive tract. But I did start with medical support and I was very, VERY careful. In your case I worry that there is something else going on, and constantly flying blind with the Thyroid is going to mess things up further.
I suffered being too hot for a long time. Temps were ok, i just felt too hot. It turned out to be high blood sugar. Have cut out carbs and now feel normal.... I even wore a jumper yesterday.... First time in years.
