NatureGirl22, ferritin is bottom of range, over 100 is optimal. Supplement iron with 500-1,000mg vitamin C which aids absorption and minimises constipation.

Full blood count is normal.

Clutter, for whatever reason, top of range for her ferritin is only 120. Agree, her ferritin is too low. The hemoglobin is good but her RBC count is top of range as well. Albumin is below range for some reason. At first I thought maybe overhydration but then RBC would be even higher since it's measured by volume. Alkaline phosphatase is normal. I haven't looked at page three yet.

Don't know what diet this person follows, but a good weekly feed of liver will not only give her iron but also copper, vitamin A, and the B vitamins. Shellfish would give her the zinc to balance the copper.

Gabkad, yup very low top of range. I'm used to seeing 300-400.
