Wondered if anyone could help, I was diagnosed with subclinical hypo - have been on 50mg of Levo, so far haven't felt that much better to be honest, tiredness is terrible.
I went to my gp this morning and requested my blood results.
I have antibodies and I'm quite shocked at how high they are just wondered if this is normal?
Anti -Tpo antibodies 149U/ml
Anti - Thyroglobin ABS 1341 U/ml
Thanks for your help

The antibodies are positive for autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's) which has caused your hypthyroidism. Many Hashi patients find adopting 100% gluten-free diet is helpful in managing Hashi flares and reducing antibodies.
If you post your thyroid results with the ref ranges (figures in brackets after results) members will advise whether you are optimally medicated on 50mcg Levothyroxine.
