Has anyone on here tried Evening Primrose for hairloss? I wonder what dosage is needed?

I tried it on the advice of my doctor. But I'm not sure it helped. However, I do recommend it to people taking Levo because - you never know! I was taking Armour when my doctor recommended it, so perhaps it was just that my dose wasn't high enough. He said to take Borage Oil with it.

How much were you taking GG?

I know it's not hair loss, but years ago I used to get breast pain before my periods and read that 3,000mg was the recommended dose. It was something that was also recommended by GP's, only the dose was only 500mg which (suprise!) was useless!

Well, he didn't actually recommend a dose, so I just took one tablet of what was in the bottle, which was 1000 mg. Never occurred to me that I might need more.

i took it, 1000mg and it did nothing but give me some really bad acne so save yourself!!!

Well, it didn't give me acne, so I think people should try it for themselves. We're all different!
