There are plenty of integrative physicians specializing in thyroid in Australia, go and see one of them

Welcome to the forum, Danniiskye.

Do you have the ref range for FT4 (figures in brackets after result)? TSH 1.87 and FT4 14.5 would be low-normal in the UK and wouldn't indicate thyroid dysfunction.

Low ferritin (iron), vitamin D, B12 and folate can cause fatigue and symptoms similiar to hypothyroidism so it may be worth having blood tests to rule out deficiency.

Welcome to our forum but do you have the ranges for these tests, please. Because labs differ in the type of machines they use the ranges are needed to comment properly.

Someone who may be right or wrong told me that the t4 should be really in the upper levels like 20 rather than 14 your t3 sounds a bit low ....you could take t3

I would seriously find a doctor that understands that blood tests are just a guide and not the complete picture to thyroid disease. They are measuring blood levels and the message from the pituitary to the thyroid gland, the TSH, none of these measurements show what is in the cells only your pulse before rising in the morning, please check this, it should be around 70 beats per minute, or a little under, and your symptoms. Get a symptom sheet from the net and highlight your symptoms, I would imagine there are many. Look for alternative doctors as they seem to understand more that symptoms go before tests. Ask them about natural thyroid hormone as this preparation contains all 5 atoms, T4, T3, T2, T1 and another atom.

Good luck and please don't give in. If you feel like this then there is a problem

Your levels are far too low, you need T4 and T3, that's why ur tired, stop eating any gluten if you have hashimotos, I keep my protein intake much higher, as you need much more when on T3, don't have too much fruit as it has too much fructose in it, a few pieces a day is fine. Really it's how you feel on the food that you eat, but honestly without the proper medication, nothing makes much difference. Do they prescribe NDT? Veronica
