Is earache another symptom? I keep getting pains in my ears almost like they want to pop?
I had positional vertigo and the doctor done a treatment on me (put my head in different positions) anyway that worked. But since I get pains in my ears.
Sometimes I feel like these things are in my head. I keep getting new symptoms all the time.

So sorry to hear that you are getting positional vertigo - I suffer too and before an onset, I always get a sharp pain across the side of my head near the ear. I have assumed that as the issue is middle ear imbalance, the pain is coming from there. Be aware that it may return - it is an extremely common ailment. If it does, I find the best thing is to go to bed, sit upright (I've even been known to sleep upright if it goes on for some time) by putting several pillows behind to support you and move as little as possible, focussing on one point in the room. Your doctor may prescribe stemetil or a travel sickness pill. These have the benefit of making you sleepy which is fine if you are at home. Be very careful if you are out and get an attack as stemetil has the tendency to make you very tired so do not drive although, in my experience, once you get an attack all normal activities are impossible to do. Are you going mad? No. Be aware that it may be a sign of labrynthitis (infection in the middle ear) or if you are getting other symptons, something else. Mine arrived along with low blood pressure and hypothyroidism - so be aware of the other signals your body is sending you. Good luck. I hope its just a temporary thing.
Hi there - positional vertigo does have a habit of returning again and again. It regularly returns for me since I had it initially in 2007. I'm guessing the doctor did something like the Epley Manoeuvre to reposition the detritus within the inner ear (the ENT consultant said it was like a kettle that silts up and has to be cleared out regularly - nice analogy eh?).
It may only be anecdotal but mine was resurfacing again a couple of months ago but since starting Vitamin D3 and B12 it seems to have gone away on its own. It may be coincidence but I thought I'd mention it.
