A year ago I was diagnosed with thyroiditis/under active thyroid. I've been on thyroxine for around 10 months. Most of my symptoms have subsided, I'm occasionally less motivated and a bit down but nothing major. The one symptom that hasn't gone at all is the swelling of my thyroid. I can feel most of the time. I'm looking to find out if that's normal and if anyone else is experiencing the same thing. An ultra sound just confirmed the swelling but I feel like not much is being said to help me of help me understand it. Thank you

Bex, goiter can develop due to iodine deficiency, high TSH flogging the thyroid to produce more hormone, inflammation caused by Hashimoto's thyroiditis, and sometimes it is idiopathic (unknown reason).
