Joy12, bad idea to stop taking thyroxine unless you know exactly how much hormone, if any, is in the supplement. Post your recent results and ranges and members will advise whether you are optimally medicated.

Blimey! Look at the price! It's more expensive than T3. And all it really contains is L Tyrosine - which can be bought much cheaper elsewhere. What a rip off!

Do you know if you have Hashi's? Because if you do, it really isn't going to help much. I very much doubt that it will help with weight-loss (only in your Pocket!). What you need to lose weight is good levels of T3. Have you managed to get yours tested yet?

no I haven't had any tests for T3 I am thinking of having aprivate blood test but don't know if I have to have a phlebotomist to take the blood or whether I can do a home test any suggestions please

No, sorry, I Don't know anything about private blood tests. Someone else might come along to advise you, or you could post a new question - there are lots of people on here who do know! :)

I took Thyromine to stop fluid gain. It worked. Up until the time I started the supplement I was gaining btw 5-10 of fluid a month. Endo doc was no help. So, I found thyromine and that was the only thing that stabilized the fluid retention.
