Well i have been intouch with cgg mwdical board and they carnt go against gp decision not to give me a prescription for armour even though consultant specified how he wanted to trial me on this drug ...anyone no anyother meds i can get doctor to prescribe not levothyroxine as its not ageeing with me ...am devestated

Nylarae, Liothyronine is the only UK alternative to Levothyroxine.
Armour can be bought online without prescription. There are less expensive brands, NatureThroid and WP, or the Thai Thyroid-S and Thiroyd.
If your consultant thinks you need it then ask HIM to prescribe they can you know!!
