Tsh and t4
Joleene, they look euthyroid (normal) to me. TSH is suppressed and FT4 high-normal.
Hi joleene, from my own experience with hyperthyroid / graves and from reading your previous posts and symptoms, I would say your t4 level is too high for you. It's a huge reference range so it's important to keep note of your blood results and how you feel, this will give you a good idea of where on the reference range is optimal for you where you feel better, everyone is different and feel well at different levels. Perhaps you need a little more carbimazole 10mg and get more tests 4-6weeks and titrate accordingly. Would be a good idea to speak to your GP again. Hope this makes sense and helps a little.
Hi, as your post said about graves I wondered what your experience with your eyes has been, I have had symptoms for around 18 months they are puffy and one appears bigger and my face is not symmetrical anymore but still the endocrinologist says it's mild, it's very worrying, also I have been on a waiting list for eye doctor but expect to wait a year
To be really sure, you need Free T3 and the ranges. If you feel well, your results are fine; if not, you need to know free t3, B12, folate, ferritin and vitamin D.
Thanks a lot for all your posts, I am suprised that the result is normal as this is worse I have felt in a while, thanks
