Can Levothyroxine be bought in the UK over the counter?
My friend recently bought 3 packs in Tenerife for a few euros from a Chemist. They did not ask for copies of her prescription.

I have bought it over the counter in Majorca in the past for about 3 euros.
Hi Can I add a note of caution. If you do prescribe it yourself, make sure you have regular blood tests through TUK site as it can be dangerous if wrongly used.

Agree with Jackie, I only bought it in Majorca because I forgot my prescribed dose.
I don't think I would self medicate, although its handy for an emergency if you forget or lose meds. I wouldn't like to think I had to go even a few days without my meds.
