Can anyone tell me if it's possible or normal to have raised 50> TPOAB 20+ years after treatment stopped please

Hi

I had Graves disease in 1992 and I've just tested positive for graves antibodies. I have hadhimotos.

thanks wombletor can I ask what your TPOAB was please there saying mine is probably due to the graves but I cant see how if I was ok over 20 years ago and have had no treatment since I could still have raised antibodies from graves all these years later.

I tested positive, I wasn't given the numbers. I asked the consultant how I could still have abs when my treatment stopped 20 years ago. His reply was abs can remain forever.
