Thanks for posting, interesting read.
This article references autoimmune diseases, but not Hashimoto's specifically, which appears to be the most common gluten-caused autoimmune problem. Don't know where this statistic came from, but: an article I just read by Jill Carnahan MD, states that 1/3 of patients who have Hashimoto's, get it from gluten. That article is at:
My issues never change when eliminating Gluten. I have Hashi's and have tested negative on testing as well. It is only an issue for SOME.
What issues? Can you elaborate a bit more?
